Meet football’s top decision-makers and build in-person connections

The Business of Football Summit returns in 2027 for its ninth edition as new technology, changing consumer habits and evolving financial rules accelerate the pace of disruption across the game. While private capital continues to seek opportunities, increasingly via a multi-club model, and revenue in the European game keeps pushing higher, profits remain elusive and exit routes unproven. Tighter regulations offer clubs relief from spiralling costs, yet risk dampening domestic competitiveness. The challenge remains — how can you make money in football, and also achieve sporting success?

The Summit will gather leading investors, club and league executives, regulators, broadcasters and tech innovators to discuss this question, and much more — including how women's football can be taken to the next level, how rights holders facing a flat media market can experiment with new ways to deliver content to fans, and how clubs can avoid the stadium boom becoming a long-term debt overhang. They will share their insights in discussion with FT journalists, in-person in London and virtually before a global audience.
